Bare Bow, Relex/Deflex Flatbow One-piece Traditional Hunting/Target Bow

Reflex Deflex Flatbow (not quite recurve) One-piece Traditional Hunting/Target Bow. Can be drawn to 30 and has a very consistent lb increase across the entire draw. Lovely smooth release, very little vibration.

The draw curve diagram is in the photos. Limbs - Maple with Sapele & Powerglass core.

Black bowglass (Bearpaw) belly and backing. Riser (not take-down) Sapele & Powerglass core with Maple and Zebrano accents. Supplied with a 12strand, black and white DacroGen custom bowstring.

(new high strength, low-stretch Dacron manufactured by FlexArchery, Spain). Brace height is recommended at 6.5 based on 500sp aluminium shaft arrows but your experience may differ if using different arrows. The string supplied is the correct length to achieve the recommended brace height. Simply twist or untwist the bow string to adjust the brace height if needed.

Any feedback on different arrow weights and materials is always welcome. Its a high performance laminated bow that has passed all our performance tests but has a couple of aesthetic down points. It has a slightly sharper kink in the limbs than we were hoping for during prototyping.

The bow form has since been adjusted for all future bows using this profile. This is purely aesthetic and does not affect the bows performance. There is also a join in the maple backing laminate as shown in the photos. Again this is purely aesthetic and does not affect the bows performance.

All our production bows have full length laminates. The logo is printed onto the side. Our production bows have the logo printed on a maple disk set into the handle but this wasn't necessary for a test bow.

After rigorous testing and posing for photos, this bow has been re-sanded and re-finished with natural tung oil with a matt coat of poly over the top. There is a small ding/scratch on the logo, a couple of marks on the arrow shelf from early testing but nothing that stands out or takes away from it's beauty. We didnt want to part with these early bows but we are a very small company with limited space and our bow rack is full! We would rather see this bow enjoyed by someone who may not have considered trying out a bare bow and I think Im banned from bringing any more bows home!
