Reflex Deflex Flatbow (not quite recurve) One-piece Traditional Hunting/Target Bow. The draw curve diagram is in the photos.

Limbs - Midnight purple maple showing grain, front and back with purpleheart and Stabil core. Clear bowglass (Bearpaw) belly and backing. Riser (not take-down) -Zebrano timber with purpleheart and maple stripe. Supplied with a brand new 12strand, black and purple DacroGen custom bowstring from BackyardBows. (new high strength, low-stretch Dacron manufactured by FlexArchery, Spain).

Brace height is recommended at 6.5 - 7 based on 500sp aluminium shaft arrows but your experience may differ if using different arrows. This bow definitely prefers stiffer arrows. The string supplied will be the correct length to achieve the recommended brace height.

Simply twist or untwist the bow string to adjust the brace height if needed. Any feedback on different arrow weights and materials is always welcome. A brand new string will be included, the one shown in the pictures has had a lot of use. Although it is a beautiful high performance laminate bow, it has a couple of aesthetic down points hence cheaper price tag! There are a couple of marks here and there from a lot of use and testing, nothing that stands out but are visible on close inspection. The knocks have some scuffs on the tips as seen in the photos. The logo is printed straight onto the riser whereas our production bows have the logo printed on a hardwood disk set into the handle. The logo shows 56 amo length and 50lb at 28 draw (see draw curve diagram in photos) but the length is actually 55.2.

The bow has been re-sanded, oiled with natural Tung oil and finished with a matt polyurethane clear coat. This would make a good junior bow as its very consistent throughout the draw. At 26-28 draw though, it is fast and a lot of fun! We didnt want to part with these early bows but we are a very small company with limited space and need to make some more room on the bow rack.

We would rather see this bow enjoyed by someone who may not have considered trying out a bare bow (and Im banned from bringing any more bows home as I have far too many) so it is priced to sell. Its also a complete one-off. (the shape/profile is in regular use with slightly less kink in the limbs but the timber choice and colours are completely unique).
